After his release from detention, Muhammad returns to his tribe in the Goral (Destiny) Hills and attempts to build a real home for his children. Together, his Bedouin tribe members gather the remains of their tin shacks and start building Muhammad's family home. Life in an unrecognized Bedouin village has never been easy for the Al Talaika family, and to make matters worse, the government has begun demolishing their homes.
They struggle to hold onto their traditional lifestyle, their daily bread, and their desert land, in spite of the new laws pressuring them to move back to the township. The constant threat to his home and his tribe forces Muhammad to wander elsewhere in search of work. The increasing sense of instability and unease leads him to seek strength in God.
